I take on small repairs and installations.
Installing shelves, replacing taps under sinks, assembling furniture, fixing squeaky doors, tightening loose handles, sealing windows. These are jobs where experience and proper tools matter, not just a stamp.

I do not carry out inspections or work with gas.
I deliberately do not carry out electrical installation inspections, work on gas supply lines, or anything requiring an authorised inspection report. I prefer to state immediately that a specialist is needed rather than perform work for which no one can subsequently assume responsibility.

I will advise you even if I don't take on the job.
If you are unsure whether your repair is suitable for a handyman, send me a description and a photo. I will either confirm that we can handle it or recommend who to contact.

How the order and site visit proceed
After submitting your enquiry, I will contact you by phone or email to arrange an appointment.
For minor repairs, simply describe the problem. For larger jobs, such as setting up an apartment after a move. It is best to discuss the scope in advance so I know what tools and materials to bring with me.
On site, I first inspect the work and say whether it can be carried out immediately or if materials need to be ordered additionally. If the work turns out to be larger than expected, you will find out before I continue: not just in the invoice.
It pays to bundle several small tasks together. Customers often order one service, only for further issues to be discovered during the visit: a stiff socket, a loose handle, or a draughty window. The travel time and preparation take up time regardless of whether we are dealing with one item or five.

How soon can you arrive?
The appointment is scheduled based on workload and location, for routine repairs this usually takes a few days; for more urgent matters, such as a burst tap, I try to respond as soon as possible.
Do I need to provide my own materials, or will you bring them?
Basic consumables, wall plugs, screws, seals. I carry with me. As for specific parts, such as a new tap or handle according to your choice, it is better to have them at home in advance. This saves an extra trip.
Do you also operate outside Prague?
Primarily, I cover the Prague districts listed above. For nearby areas, we can arrange an individual agreement.
What if the work turns out to be larger than I expected?
I will tell you on the spot before I continue, and we will agree whether to finish immediately or schedule another visit for materials.
Do you also handle smaller masonry and carpentry repairs?
Yes, minor plastering and carpentry work are among our standard jobs. For larger renovations, I will state immediately whether the scope still fits a handyman or if a construction company is required.
